graduation Ravis 3D
July 31, 2019
At the end of June we had a successful final meeting of the Ravis 3D project which was funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union. In the project, three demonstrators were successfully developed as an auxiliary system for people with a visual impairment. These record the environment using radar sensors and convert the signals into a 3D audio output. The user can receive this information via a hearing aid so that he can continue to perceive ambient noise without any problems. In addition to the real-time processing of the signals, the main challenge was the user-friendliness of the system. In the next few weeks, the most promising system will be tested even further with those affected.
